DAV RIDE FOR VETERANS

SUNDAY JULY 5th, 2009

Sunday 05 July is the 21st running of the annual Run to benefit the Disabled American Vets chptr 16 in Longmont. Registration is 9:30 to 11:00 at High Country H-D/Buell, Frederick for the five stop poker run to local VFW & American Legions.

 
High Country H-D/Buell is located at exit 235 on I-25 where Hwy-52 crosses, turn at the McDonald's and head south to the dealership.
 
First bike out at 10:00am or ride with a group to the VA Hospital in Denver to do a poker run and visit with veteran residents there. Also at that time several trips with residents in side cars will be taking place outside the VA facility.
 
Or start your day at the Platteville VFW serving breakfast from 8 to 11. You can draw your first card there.
 
All runs will return to High Country H-D/Buell for live entertainment, refreshments, food, 50/50, Harley executives will be there, a Harley's Heroes mobile service office, patch sewing, poker run prizes awarded, and other activities.
